As always, FlowSuites has excellent advice for those who are seeking the best city experience. Here is a list of the most anticipated concerts for the rest of the year. The Kooks – November 16 That’s right. The British indie rock band returns to Mexico to offer one of the best concerts of the year. Originally from Brighton, the band is known for songs like «Naive» and «She Moves in Her Own Way,» which touch our hearts with teen nostalgia and guitar chords. If you are an indie lover and want to spend an evening with your partner, this concert will surely bring out emotions with each song. The date is November 16 at the Teatro Metropólitan. Coca-Cola Flow Fest – November 27th Coca-Cola Flow is ready to rock the stages again in its 2021 edition, especially for those who missed dancing to urban genres at full volume. This year, the festival will feature notable headliners Ozuna and Wisin y Yandel, Jhay Cortez, Farruko, El Alfa, Myke Towers, and Rauw Alejandro, among other personalities. Of course, the genres to dance to will be based on reggaeton and trap with slight tones of pop. If you want to have a day full of energy, don’t miss this unforgettable event that will take place on November 27 at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. Mon Laferte – December 7th and 8th The Chilean singer who conquered our hearts returns to Mexico to present her latest material, «1940 Carmen», an album unlike any other and focusing on female empowerment, very characteristic of Mon. Both dates are designed for you to sing at the top of your lungs and have a perfect romantic experience in the company of your loved ones. Without a doubt, this is one of the most anticipated concerts, especially for the outpouring of feelings that will surely bring a tear or two to your eyes. Celebrate December with this concert and attend the Teatro Metropólitan on December 7 or 8. Marc Anthony – December 10 Finally, one of the most anticipated events for salsa fans. Marc Anthony will be in town to make us dance until dawn with his colorful and joyful songs. Marc is one of the most outstanding Latin music performers in America. We always welcome his charisma with open arms, especially if he delivers hits to dance with a partner. Prepare your shoes and body because this date will be unique and perfect for you and your loved one. Don’t forget that FlowSuites is your best choice if you are looking for lodging.

It is a place to enjoy musical hits from the seventies, eighties, and nineties. Good old times provide this place with a great atmosphere, with its karaoke and live music. Botellón has been, for several years, a popular meeting point for friends, as its ambiance and music are perfect for an alternative night out. The best dishes to order for delivery and pamper yourself.
There comes a time when, after cooking at home all week, our body cries out for a break from washing so many dishes. Surely by this point you already know some new restaurants that deliver pizzas, coffees or paninis. This week, we wish to change the menu and recommend these 4 restaurants that offer several options right at your doorstep. Want to enjoy the moment of rest even more? Stay at FlowSuites and have a lovely dinner delivered to your room. Pin-Tó: Thai food This restaurant is the delicious project of chef Somsri Raksamran who, together with her husband, opened this new concept inspired by Thai street food. Pin-Tó is a sea of flavors in a single bite thanks to its variety of sauces and condiments ranging from sweet to spicy. We recommend you try the spring rolls, Bangkok wings, som tum and, of course, the Pad Thai, one of the most famous stews in Thailand. Here is the link to their menu for ordering. Gruta Ehden: Lebanese food Meet what we believe to be the best Lebanese restaurant in Polanco. Gruta Ehden opened its doors in Mexico in 1976 under a family concept that follows homemade Lebanese recipes to the letter. Its menu consists of delicacies such as dry jocoque with zaatar, fried eggplant, beef shawarma, hummus and Arabic bread. Click on this link to see their menu Parnita: gourmet Mexican food Parnita recently celebrated its tenth anniversary amid a global crisis, but this did not prevent them from adapting seamlessly to the delivery system. The Acra Family restaurant has exquisite dishes such as black sheep tacos, traveler burritos with avocado, dobladas with chile pasilla or their tacos in blue tortilla or pita bread. They also sell handcrafted ciders that will go perfect with your food. See their entire menu on their Instagram page. Por Siempre: vegan tacos This taco place is the best option you’ll find in the city for people who don’t eat animal products, or for those who want to try something different. Por Siempre has become popular because its tacos have a flavor in disguise that tastes really good; the pastor is made of wheat, the suadero is made of soy and they have sides like potatoes, onions and nopales (cactus). These tacos will be delivered right to your door. See their Instagram account here
Five empowering and at the same time pampering spots in Mexico City
There are times when we feel we need to get out and breathe, and one thing we have learned in the last few months is that we can adapt and still allow ourselves time, space, and experiences that make us stronger. If you were eager to explore a little of what’s new out there or just looking for good massages, we’ve got five empowering and pampering spots for you. Men are also invited! Kickboxing Classes in Polanco If you are over 18 and want to strengthen your mind and body, we recommend attending 9 Round, a gym in Polanco that offers kickboxing classes. An amazing walk in the park It may not seem like it, but parks sometimes provide us with magical moments that simply give us back a bit of tranquility. No matter where you are, there are surely beautiful parks nearby for you to read or just chat with your best friend. If you have kids, this is the perfect time for everyone in your family to leave their troubles behind and just enjoy the view. We love Parque Mexico, located in La Condesa, Parque Lincoln in Polanco or Parque La Mexicana in Santa Fé.
Re-exploring the urban planning of Mexico City
Our city is nostalgic for music and long walks in the streets in search of something new to do. Little by little, life outdoors is coming back, and even if we must keep on taking care of ourselves, there are a couple of alternatives for those days when one feels overwhelmed by the eternal confinement. We discovered that some open spaces are again available for bike rides or just sitting and reading in the sunshine, so we want to share them with you in case you want to rediscover the city. Chapultepec Forest The first section of the forest can be the ideal space to disconnect from everything that has been happening to us in the last few months. The park opened its doors at the beginning of July for sports activities, such as hiking and biking; in fact, it is the ideal place for meditating in the middle of the forest or taking a book and coffee if you find yourself a little stressed out. It is an excellent option to take a breath of fresh air and feel the grass under your skin, accompanied by a friend, dog, or partner. If you do not have a place to stay, we suggest you stay in Polanco, as it is only a 15-minute walk from the forest. A roof bar in Condesa In case you do not know much about this area, Condesa has stood out incredibly for its musical and cultural offerings, but not only that, but it also has the most beautiful buildings in all of Mexico. Its houses and restaurants, for the most part, maintain a vintage and ancient style that has made anyone who has visited our city fall in love with it. Although most of the establishments are closed for the moment, we have found that there are open terraces, ideal for going out for a drink and enjoying good company. We suggest you stay in FlowSuites Condesa if you are visiting the city and walking along Amsterdam Avenue, which takes you to two of its best parks. Back to Downtown Even though the beloved stores are closed for the moment, we will never say no to a walk around Madero, Bellas Artes, and the Zócalo. The center keeps the Aztec and Spanish magic with it, which is reflected in its beautiful buildings with Art Deco finishes and the magnificent ruins. The sounds begin to resurface again with the organ grinders and the music on Bolivar Street, which we recommend you experience firsthand with a walk through its streets and legends; it’s even a good time to take pictures because of the few people you meet now. Following the security measures, this place is perfect for contemplating the distinctive features and history of our Mexico closely. Do you want to visit Mexico City safely? We highly recommend you stay at the FlowSuites hotel chain since they offer impeccable and warm service in the Condesa, Polanco, and WTC areas.
Creative gifts for your partner this February 14
The moment we lovers have been waiting for has arrived. For better or worse, Valentine’s Day is a date that we Mexicans have adopted because we are one of the warmest cultures when it comes to showing our affection. That is why we would like to recommend you some unusual gifts that can be perfect for your partner, friends, or even family; we also have a couple of ideas to prove that you do not need to spend too much on that special gift. A map of the stars from «the day we met.» This project from The Night Sky allows you to recreate how the stars were positioned on any day unique to you. If the gift is for your significant other, you can enter the date and place you met, and their portal will accurately recreate the position of the stars with a beautiful dark background. You can even order the printing and framing, presenting this beautiful gift as if it were a work of art. A memorable playlist. Thanks to technology and music platforms like Spotify, Sound Cloud, or Apple Music, it is now possible to make playlists for any occasion. With a little creativity, you can choose the songs that remind you of that special person and create this digital gift completely free. It is also a perfect gift for couples (or friends) who are not physically together due to the pandemic. Create your own perfume. We found a page in Mexico that allows you to create your own perfume at a very reasonable cost. Perfumérica is a platform that lets you customize your own perfume, whether you are a man or a woman, for $490 with free shipping in 3 to 5 business days. This project is exceptionally creative, perfect for couples, and its vintage presentation adds the perfect touch. Dinner at home: a classic that never dies. There are details that, although seemingly quite simple, we hardly ever actually carry them out. Do you remember the last time you had dinner with your partner by candlelight? If you live together, this gift is quite ideal and economical. Just create an atmosphere that gets you in the mood to bake something delicious. You can even play some jazz in the background and let yourselves be carried away by the conversation while toasting with a bottle of wine. Offer a vintage book as a gift Second-hand books have become quite popular in recent years, as they are incredibly cheap and have that unique old book smell. Many findings have surprised us, such as special editions, art books, or even novels no longer published. We suggest you give a vintage book a second chance and write a personalized dedication inside.

Online documentaries and movies that you can watch at home with a glass of wine.
We are in the home stretch of the year, in our last week of work and want to relax a bit. However, with thousands of options on each platform, we often find ourselves overwhelmed and We prepared our list of favorites for you to enjoy this cold season, with a fine glass of wine and a couple of snacks in the warmth of your home. Yesterday I Was Wonder The Mexican cinema we know is only the tip of the iceberg. When it comes to cult films, there are thousands of options that, although not very well known, have the best photography and script. This film by Gabriel Mariño is a story of drama and science fiction that, in its black and white shades, explores what it is like to be in a constantly changing skin. The film tells the story of a nameless being in Mexico City, who changes his body and sex every few years without explanation. This «fantastic reality» will make it difficult for him to be with Luisa, the woman he loves. Intimacies of Shakespeare and Victor Hugo Yulene Olaizola’s debut film has Rosa Carbajal, the filmmaker’s grandmother, as the main narrator. In this story, Rosa tells us about a past where her guest house was the scene of different characters with mysteries and talents, among them Jorge Riosse, a young man with whom she forged a close friendship. Amidst the web that is woven around this character, some situations with Rosa will reveal different clues that will lead to the conclusion that he murdered a dozen women. Portrait of a Woman on Fire This year, much was said about this beautiful film by Céline Sciamma. In her eagerness to show all the feminine sensations and qualities, she created a story that became a romantic classic. The film begins with Marianne’s arrival in an aristocratic house, where as a painter she receives an incredibly special commission: to portray Héloïse, who has just left the convent and is about to get married. This wedding portrait must be done without her knowing, so Marianne will investigate her daily, creating a bond that neither of them expected. Street Food Latin America Finally, we would like to recommend an ode to Latin American food. This series of mini documentaries starts from the most remote places in Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Bolivia. These are not fancy restaurants, but markets and streets where people have seen the most incredible flavors born on our side of the world. In these six chapters you will be able to see the history of their chefs, as well as the process that the food goes through before it is served. We recommend that you eat something while watching these episodes, as your mouth will water with each shot.
